Why is this trope named "short run in Peru" specifically instead of Japan or something?

Why Peru of every location?

Hey, guys! Look I've just found that the new Marvel CGI animated series Spidey and His Amazing Friends was first aired on August 1st, 2021 in Japan five days earlier before it airs it's home country on August 6th of that year, mostly in order to celebrate the 59th anniversary of Spider Man day for obvious reasons.
