Also, Scylla's not a shapeshifter, she just looks like that.

Who else thinks we should change the picture, and put Kevin/Kevin 11 from Ben Ten on this page instead?

The Scyllia from symphony always looks like that. No shapeshifer about it.

Likes: being left alone, food. Dislikes: You personally, even if we never met.

Beast Boy attempted to turn into a Pegasus in Teen Titans Go! By mimicking a horse and a bird, and in doing so was in agonizing pain.

This trope is very inconsistent. The description goes into great detail over how this strategy is a bad idea for shapeshifters, because it always goes wrong or ends up being less effective than any single transformation - Even the laconic version describing it on the shapeshifter index emphasizes that it going wrong is a big part of the trope. But of all the examples, maybe two of them actually turn out badly for the shapeshifter in question?

So then what is this trope? Is it an extended version of Shapeshifter Swan Swong, or is it a more extreme version of Partial Transformation? It seems to want to be both, but as a result, there aren't really any examples?
