It was created with no YKTTW page, by a new editor to the site, who had a... few issues with linking, grammar, and spelling, and was fairly close to at least 1 (maybe 2 or 3) other tropes. There was also an issue with it being added to a few dozen other trope pages (including like 8 indexes) of various questionable relevance.
I do believe there is room for a "Anonymity makes people reveal things about themselves" trope, however, and would put it in YKTTW myself if it wouldn't be stepping on Vegetto's toes.
Oddly enough the page is locked, I wonder if it was cut several times and brought back each time?

Well it actualy had a YKTTW but please let's not foool ourselves it was deleted because eddie tastes .., still I am working in a new version of the article. Btw all those indexes were relevant , can I explain the relevance on each of them
Please let me be clear on this, Fast Eddie is a fairly fair moderator, he did not remove it because of a grudge.
There are reasons the trope was removed. It was not ready for launch.

From what one Trope Repair Shop thread shows, the person that wrote this ignored any attempt at discussion and kept reverting every revision back to the piece of shit article he originally wrote. Presumably, the lock is because of a concern that if he's so belligerent about keeping a crappy write-up, he's also likely to resurrect it.

Apparently Vegetto was undoing edits fixing the grammar? At least on the YKTTW page? Not sure I understand.
Fixed up as much of the grammar and links that I could. I suggest re-evaluating this trope a bit — we typically put them in the "You Know That Thing Where" system before creating them but what's done is done.
Basically we have GIFT, which is for people being jerks when they are anonymous. This is related, people exposing their true emotions/feelings/thoughs/etc once they have anonymity.
Is there going to be a reference on this page as to where the term "Shadow Persona" comes from, for those not in the know? Or is the term considered standalone enough that doing so is not necessary?
