I spend a considerable amount of time researching the video game Heart of Darkness both online and in retro gaming magazines, in both English and French. Can find no instances of it being the ORIGIN of the term "L'Arlésienne des Jeux Vidéo" being used to describe games in development hell which I found if anything is mostly used to refer to the infamous Duke Nukem Forever. Anybody got a source on that?
Shouldn't the Little Mermaid be on the list. It was in development hell for 50 years.
"Bite Me", web original from machinima, last episode before hell "30 Dec 2010" Saved on the release of season 2 "5 Mar 2012" I'm editing that.... If i'm wrong, feel free to inform me.
Edited by AronienseThoughts on arranging Trope examples by time spent "in Hell"? It would make sense to have the most egregious examples leading off, methinks.
Should we move Duke Nukem Forever up to the top of the video game section? At this point, Duke is practically the patron saint of this trope.
Hide / Show RepliesWhoops, hadn't seen this post, but I actually had just moved it up there myself. (Came here to propose the post below...)
The "Film" subfolder is long enough to merit its own subpage.
