* Stage 9 of ''WebAnimation/DanTheMan'', according to the old FAQ, was planned to be released by the fall of 2017, but got shelved. The original director and creator of the series, Joe Brumm, became busy with work on ''WesternAnimation/{{Bluey}}'', while Creator/HalfbrickStudios was undergoing a restructure [[https://www.cnet.com/tech/gaming/fruit-ninja-jetpack-joyride-redundant-mobile-halfbrick/ that led to half of its team to be laid off]] after years of struggling to follow up on the success of ''VideoGame/FruitNinja'' and ''VideoGame/JetpackJoyride''. Stage 9 was released 5 years later in 2021, with Studio Joho and Joe Brumm still involved, but the animation being handled by by Octopie.

On September 9, 2021, a trailer unexpectedly dropped of a new ''Strawberry Shortcake'' cartoon called ''Berry in the Big City'', which shares some design cues but otherwise looks completely different, most notably that it's an ArtShift into a [=2D=] series. Later, it was announced that there would be [=3D=] specials of this incarnation to be released on Creator/{{Netflix}}.
