I feel like a sub-trope should be created specifically for the vampire variation of this trope considering how many examples there are of Mina expies being the reincarnated wives of their Dracula counterparts.

Does it count if there is a Mayfly–December Romance going on and the long lived partner doesn't reincarnate because they don't die (yet), but keeps getting romantically involved with various (short-lived) incarnation of the same person?
