It seems the best way to stop someone from Rapid Fire Interrupting you is to wait a few seconds. When the interrupter inevitably asks "Hey, what's with the silent treatment?" or something similar, you can then sarcastically reply "I'm just waiting for you to finish." If the interrupter doesn't ask, you can, in his/her place, like this: "Can I speak now?"
If at this point, the interrupter is STILL interrupting you, it may be because he or she is a Jerkass, and a fist to the face or stomach may be warranted.
