I agree. This is a clear trope on its own.
Also, having that happen in Alice is a funny as hell image.

The new, shinier version of the page is a vast improvement. I wouldn't have recommended it's deletion had it looked like that originally. The new description is much better in warranting it's inclusion.

re:Cut
The hell there isn't enough uniqueness in this trope. It tends to associate itself with a certain sort of character, uses a particular comical image (the big frilly petticoat) and adds a completely different tone. You don't find The A-Team in a big dress trying to slow his descent while singing a song and you don't find action adventure horn music and plane explosions in Alice In Wonderland.
