From the webcomic folder, there was a hidden reveal that implies that Richard of Looking For Group might not actually be (un)dead. I won't post this on the main page due to the hidden nature of the reveal, but I am trying to get the word out.

Needs a good pimp.

I've been on Tvtropes for two years, and never, not once, saw this page until I typed 'lich' into the bar. I could understand this if I was, say, a historical fiction fan, but I'm a hardcore fantasy and scifi geek. This page needs... dramatic music... an Entry Pimp to provide a few links.

Characters Called "Liches" Who Don't Quite Match Specs: Greg Costikyan's "Another Day, Another Dungeon" had a lich as, basically, the Only Sane Man for Team Evil. He once spent a century as only a skull being used as a birdfeeder because he angered The Powers That Be.

Sorry, what I meant to be asking was, is this an appropriate entry for this page? I mean, the lich was a socerer and he was definitely undead, but I don't think he'd hidden his soul anywhere particular...

Most of our monster pages are called "Our ___Are Different", including this one. So if it's called a lich in the source material, it counts, no matter how different it is.

Of course, what to do with monsters that aren't called liches is another story.
