Cut the following example:
- The original series (Of Battlestar Galactica) features several 8-bit microcomputers, including a Commodore C64, on the bridge's control panels.
The original BSG ran 1978 to 1979. The Commodore 64 was released in spring 1982

Would CG models purchased from a consumer / hobbyist level 3D Marketplace count for this particular trope? Because I know of at least one.

Since there hasn't been a reply in almost a year, I'm gonna go ahead and post it.
I pulled this from the description of Osgood's Fourth Doctor scarf in "The Day of the Doctor"
I don't think that was the intention: Osgood's reaction to the Doctor seems to me to be very much written as though this is the first time she's actually met her hero. The novelisation seems to confirm this, and also has Kate specifically think of the scarf as "cosplay". And in later appearances, she's wearing bow ties, Converse trainers, decorative vegetables, question mark pullovers, etc. The intent can't be that she got them all from the Doctor, but that she chose them herself to mimic his style.
