The animation used in the 1979 animated TV special The lion, The witch and The wardrobe DOES NOT have cheap 70s animation, the animation in the TV special had full and fluid animation so TV animation in the mid-to-late 70s had full and fluid animation, so forth, TV animation in Europe had full and fluid animation as well, anime in the mid-to-late 70s had fuller animation , so that it was fluid, TV animation during the mid-to-late 70s and onwards use full animation so that it can look fluid and lifelike. BTW the Charlie brown specials had full and fluid animation, the article refer it as if it was anime from the early 60s.
