This looks a cross between Author Tract, Author Appeal, and Signature Style. It depends on whether the unit is one blog, one post, or something in between....

I think it's talking about blogs, the sort that can be described as "conservative blog", "libertarian blog", "Pastafarian blog". Now an absence of examples can seem sensible because that is possibly every blog ever. However without any major description on the nature of blogs and why this causes any particular pattern to form, these becomes a page saying "People write blogs to promote their own opinions".

Well, this is on the Cut List, so we'd better do something now. I think this is supposed to be about a blog which consists almost entirely of Author Tracts.
