Wait, someone wanted to cut this? I'm not entirely happy with the trope (I wrote it... sometimes I think it should be split into two tropes), but there's definitely a real reason to have this one.

Fiction? No. Advertising? Yes. Tropes occur in advertising too. If we're going to cut this because "it's not about fiction", then the whole Advertising Tropes, News Tropes, Reality TV Tropes, Game Show Tropes, Games Tropes, Music Tropes, Creators, and Wiki Tropes sections need to go as well.
