I'd rather like to suggest replacing 'Independence Day' with 'Valentine's Day'. While I'm sure some games do celebrate it, I've never in my life seen one. Valentine's Day, on the other hand, seems to be almost inescapable as far as a holiday mode shift goes, plus it's a good deal more global.
In fact.. I've changed it. Sorry, fix it if it's a bother. I've referred here in the history.
