Could use a new name. It's certainly an accurate description, but a reader who sees it on the page isn't going to know what it means unless they know the reference, of which the most well-known adaptation is from 1937. Since TV Tropes has been cracking down on trope names that require intimate knowledge of works that less than 90% of people have seen, this is a prime candidate.
