Would Lee Harvey Oswald have been familiar with an M-16?
The entry for Quantum Leap in the Gun Stripping trope page states that LHO knew how to strip an M-16. That rifle was introduced into US service in the year LHO died, well after he left the US Marines. The M-16 was certainly not the rifle used in the assassination of John F Kennedy.
I am not a gun person; can someone confirm whether the trope entry is correct?
