I was wanting to post a Gag Dub that someone made of The Thief And The Cobbler (making fun of the Miramax version, of course,) but I don't know what to classify it under. Web Original? Western Animation?
Here are the videos I'm referring to, by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPFonoYAoBY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqi0ITDXfAE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kGNOC8_3qk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z85AXTY0XPo
Would the Conversations with SSS extra from the DV Ds for the Enlgish Dub of Anime/Madlax qualify. Or would one need to be Gag Dubs of full episodes not just select scenes?
I love those, their Hilarious.
A good example, I think, would be series of youtube LITERAL trailers.
For example, LITERAL Assassin's Creed Brotherhood trailer.

Basically, narrating a trailer events with a tongue-in-cheek commentary instead of original soundtrack.
So... is there a trope for if a fan does this exact same thing? 'Cause Gag Sub is different.
Edited by BlueGuy Pinball cleanup threadI think that we should mention Woolseyism somewhere in the article's introduction. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Woolseyism
Danganronpa 3's Funimation Dub certainly gives vibes of a gag dub. With lines like "Kamakura Kamakura YAS QUEEN" "bummer, you're not in a coma" and an actual outtake that was originally inserted into the actual show "I'm pretty sure I died"
