Computer forensics is not forensic pathology, so this is almost certainly not an example.

     Real Life

  • Official SecurityMonkey Case File claims (this troper has no evidence either way) to be true stories from the career of a computer security consultant who also writes a blog. They are written in a Perry Mason style (complete with alliterative titles). In each one the narrator and his sidekick solve crimes and mysteries by careful computer forensics.

Well, there's been no other comment. Also, the page description makes it clear that, while forensic pathology is the most common fictional form, this trope includes any other form of crime detection with the word "forensic" in it, which should logically include computer forensics. So I'm putting it back.
