Re-cutlisting a page immediately after a cut request has been denied is, in general, a bad idea. Especially if you're re-cutlisting it without giving any new reason.

Understood, and that was my fault for misinterpreting the previous cut request being denied. I have tried my best to formulate my concerns above, however.

if you're going to re-cut them, you should actually give your additional reasons when cutting them.

Again, understood, sorry. I was mistaken in not checking the cut page to see it had been denied. I was under the impression that it had been cut but then re-posted immediately. My mistake. When I realized this mistake, I opened this dicussion.

Look I don't want to belabor the point with these cut requests. I am fine with letting them live on for now with the hopes that they will continue to gain more examples. I just didn't want to see tons of pages getting added with one or two examples on them, which I still think should be generally avoided.

Sigh... multiple pages for the same cut reason? Do you know how much of a pain these are to reply to?! Oh yes, and the thinking, all the thinking...
Anywho, the point of the pages is to cover tropes common across portrayals and for the actor to form a sort of index that cross-references all of their works. Having just one work with no actor description fails to be useful. Even two would at least link two works, three would be satisfactory but just one? Nah.

I understand my cut request was declined, but why are we creating pages that list nothing else but two works that a particular actor has been in? There's no description, no tropes, just one or two works this person has been featured in. That doesn't seem page-worthy to me.
I know we are creating pages that list the works certain actors/writers/directors have pparticpated in, but if they only have 1 or 2 examples, are they really "People to Know"?
