I completely don't understand what this trope is about. It sounds like a suspect is being interrogated, someone presents some piece of evidence, they start to confess a crime they committed, and a lawyer is present who may or may not say "don't answer that?" That sounds.... complicated. It sounds one part Too Rare To Trope and two parts People Sit In Chairs.
