Removed this: (and the BBC Controller who cancelled it is thus far the only one not to get a knighthood)

Much as I would like this to be true, it isn't.

Of the 22 people listed in The Other Wiki's Category: BBC One Controllers (which I assume is what "BBC Controller" means in this context), two have knighthoods: Sir Paul Fox and Sir Bill Cotton. (Cotton went on to become Managing Director of Television, during which he was involved in the Doctor Who cancellation process.) It's true that Jonathan Powell has received no honours, but the same is true of Lorraine Hegessey, who brought the show back. Fandom hate-figure Michael Grade, on the other hand, doesn't have a knighthood but was given a life peerage, meaning he outranks everyone on the list.

(Honestly, I think this claim is dramatically over-estimating how much say the Queen even has over who gets on the Honours List.)

Is the Storm of Chaos: A Doctor Whooves Adventure example a true example? In that story he's written as the Doctor himself, with an actual TARDIS, not Captain Erzatz versions of either. Yes, there are deviations to the canon, as part of adapting the character and concepts into being inherent parts of the Pony lore, as opposed to the usual trick of bringing him in from the canon universe, but it still comes off as being an adaptation as opposed to an homage.

I honestly don't know anything about MLP. I launched the trope because it's sponsor just didn't want to, so if you think it doesn't apply, then I don't care if it's removed.
