Diversionary tactics... they happen all the time. And yet I don't see a trope for them. As usual, there are probably countless tropes that might come close to applying, but not quite (YMMV, of course). I mean, if the villain accomplishes his goal while the heroes are busy fighting an army that was sent to distract them, for example.
Need help. Since Crashing Through the Harem can be a distraction for the crasher or the crashee, does this count?
