This seems to be the only Dwarf Trope on here that's about real life Little People. What Trope should I use for the Good Guy Doctor Dwarf in The Vampire Countess?

Is there a trope for a lighter version, where a dwarf isn't depraved but merely a bastard (Jerkass Dwarf?). Examples would be Small Dave in Robert Rankin's books and possibly the gang in Time Bandits. (I say "possibly" because I don't know if they were actually meant to be some non-human race).
