Why is Warhammer 40k the trope namer, when the mechanic in 40k was named in reference to Death or Glory, a song by the Clash.

This is actually hilariously unwise. The model in question makes one attack, which may only hit on a dice roll of a 6. In most cases any model you wish to waste with this would only penetrate that tank on another 6, and at least a 4 or higher to not die. It's effectively a 1 in 72 chance of succeeding. The reason no model with a higher chance of actually destroying the tank is used is if you roll anything but a 6 on the "to hit" try, the model gets killed outright, even if it was a 20 foot tall monster.

When did that change? I'd have sworn the model gets an automatic hit with any one weapon against the front armor? Meaning that a melta or powerfist armed model is very good choice for this.
