Do you think Oscar Bait would count as a cynicism trope? After all, the idea is that Hollywood doesn't really care about True Art and that those movies are made solely to win awards.

Would you agree that Money Dear Boy can qualify as a cynicism trope? I think it would. After all, a well-trained or acclaimed actor doing movies normally beneath their resume if it weren't for the salary. How is that NOT cynical?
