Well it was a lot worse before I added the Marx quote on top.
Feel free to edit it to make it more balanced. But bear in mind this is about how communism is dealt with in fiction. If you wish to show positive depictions in non-American media than go ahead.

This trope needs a rename: "Socialist Dystopia" would be more accurate. If we're going to have a trope for territories under socialist regimes, we have to account for the possibility of benign regimes too, something this article definitely doesn't do.
An action is not virtuous merely because it is unpleasant to do.
This is stupid. It basically paints the American picture of it and nothing else. Talk about bias.
