A few species of mammal in the real world have bones in their penises! I can't make this up!
Also, I think the Octopus skeleton decoration is one of the biggest offenders and most guilty of this trope. And, truth be told, I'm not really a fan of insects with internal skeletons, since that makes it unsettling for me.
Apparently Snuffy canonically has snuffle bones! https://images.saymedia-content.com/.image/c_limit%2Ccs_srgb%2Cq_auto:eco%2Cw_720/MTc0MjEyMjk5NDQ2Mjk4MTA4/ten-things-you-didnt-know-about.webp
I think I'm going to completely avert this one. four-limbed insects, I can handle, but insects with human-like bones? No! And if I have a spooky bug dungeon, it's going to have hollow exoskeletons.

Also, why are the spots on the Bone Piranha Plant eye sockets? Are they implying the "spots" are actually its eyes?
