Does it count if the barrier is an actual door that you thought you just sealed? I mean, breaking down the actual door, not just putting your arm through it. Because a zombie dog did this on Penumbra in the Let's Play by Helloween4545, which is the thing I thought of when coming to this trope. The game said to barricade the door, and Helloween did, with a barrel, but then as he's reading something in the room the door just crashes open and he realizes he should've barricaded it better somehow. It was very spooky to get a dog capable of doing that, really.
Only the curious have, if they live, a tale worth telling at all. Hide / Show RepliesHmm... as is, the description doesn't include your example. Personally, I'd go for another trope than a lump, but it may be better to take it up in the TRS.

So it occurred to me that Jack Nicholson's famous moment with a bathroom door in The Shining might count, BUT. He uses an axe to do it. Does it still count?
