I don't see a problem. Of course, I can accurately guess the context, a basic knowledge of anatomy helps.

Also, why do people keep listing this trope under characters in their Character Sheets? It's not really a characteristic of them.

Actually, that would be the best place to put them. If its not something like Sarcasm Mode or Understatements that can be used in conversation, the best place to put examples of Balloon Bellies would be under characters that are known to eat up to and beyond the point that there belly balloons, like Goku or Luffy at large meals.
I also don't get what's so disturbing about the episodes being specific to episodes.
Isn't Kamina's quote a little inappropriate for the page? Granted, he did get a Balloon Belly when he said that, but people who haven't seen TTGL wouldn't understand the context.
