Is it just me, or has this trope moved into Forgotten Trope territory? In the past few years of anime, I can count the occurrences of the characters being in Class 1 on one hand (no pun intended).

Most series I've seen lately hide the class letter/number entirely, or place them in 1/A, 2/B or the last class on the list. It seems there's been a huge surge in the former - they're just not saying it at all anymore to avoid the trope.

I've added this to the Negima, Megaman, TWGOK and Rosario + Vampire pages. Someone who knows more about the other series should handle those pages.
This page needs a cleanup — many of the examples are Averted Trope, which shouldn't be listed since this is not an omnipresent/aversions-only trope. I'll take out all the averted-only examples if no one minds.
