  • This was done for the filming of ''Zooey and Adam''. Given what happens in the film, this was a harrowing experience for the actors at times.

From YKTTW Working Title: Karil The Assassin

Paul A:

  • Actor is not told in advance about things their character wouldn't know (character is about to die)
  • Actor is not told in advance about things their character would know (character was the secret assassin all along)

It seems to me that these are really two different things, and shouldn't be confused.

Silent Hunter: Same basic principle. Actor is not told what their character will be doing in the next episode.

Ryusui: I can't be the only one who thinks this is an awful name for a trope, right?

Silent Hunter: Blame the cast of Harpers Island, I'd say. Nothing that can't be fixed with a redirect.
