Given that nearly every example lists an episode number, most of it's from the anime. Which makes sense, since the anime is the much more popular version of the franchise.
Now, I don't know about the manga, but you would have to be straight up blind to not see Ho Yay implications in the anime. Maybe the manga's different, no clue.

The manga is indeed very story-focused and fast paced at the expense of character interaction. It's a bit strange because while the story writing is neat and the side characters are being more fleshed-out, T&B's relationship seems to stay behind. Although so far the manga covered only about 11 episodes, and is still in the pre-"dere" stage.

So is the Ho Yay a anime-only thing? I've read through several volumes of the manga & haven't seen an ounce of homoerotic subtext coming from anyone but Fire Emblem. Most of the manga examples that have been posted make me wonder how strong your yaoi goggles have to be to find it bromantic. Really disappointed here.....
