There's a discussion of this going on on the main Ho Yay page. It might be more appropriate to take your complaints there. Until we come to a different consensus, though, this is still officially a subjective trope and as such is going to be very YMMV.
Is any of this measurable? If it's just wishful thinking with no concrete basis then it belongs in WMG. Ho Yay cannot just be theories and speculation.
