True, but here it seems especially bad. People seem outright determined to hate the story.

There's nothing wrong with the story. That doesn't mean there aren't still some major plotholes.

Exactly. We have people going nuts over minor, inconsequential elements so they can try and prove how they know the cast and setting better than the writers. There's no genuine bafflement, it's just self-vindication.
This page seems to be rapidly turning into thinly disguised complaints rather than anything genuinely puzzling.
