After the beast saves Belle from the wolves, he passes out in the snow, at which point we cut to the Beast draped across the horse... how did Belle manage to lift the Beast?

Realistically he came to enough to help. Even without that bit you'd be amazed how much you can lift/drag and pull and it's not like horses can't take a knee.
If Prince Adam (the Beast) was 10 years old when he was cursed and he had been cursed for a decade (10 years) why did none of the villagers know about him, the castle, and his rule?
