About the Superbomb in Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past; when I bought the game (brand new in 1990), it came with a little sealed pamphlet that, when opened, gave hints on things like how to get Blind to appear, properly fighting Agahmin (sp), how to beat that evil block puzzle in the Ice Fortress, and - yes - mention of using the Superbomb to blow a hole in the Pyramid. Does this mean not everyone got such a thing with their copies?

I can't speak to that, but the trope is about how there's little, or nothing, in game to indicate how to do this. If it's only told to the player through a (likely-to-be-lost-eventually) pamplet, it's still this trope.

Why are half of the examples on this page secrets? I thought Guide Dang It are about NECESSARY things that you need to complete the game or level, not about obscure secrets. Maybe we should make a page for that...
