I've noticed that the page has been purged of non-ingame examples. I found it weird because it had been in its previous state for years. In my opinion, I preferred the old way, but I guess it broke some rules or something...
Is it because of a recent change in site rules, or it's been that way for a long time but nobody had noticed?

Honestly, same here. Especially since most of those experiences aren't large enough to get a page and thus aren't able to get a funny section anywhere else.
Does it really count if it's people's experiences with Minecraft rather than the game itself?
