Can someone tell me if there's a consensus on whether entries like the queer reading entry fit better on Fridge pages or with the WMG page? The first part of the entry about coding and its implications I could understand being here, but the second part about how muddled the message is kinda seems to defeat the entry's own assertion that it belongs on the Fridge page. It just... doesn't seem to fit at that point.
Para Norman as a film definitely uses supernatural abilities to thematically discuss how society treats those different than the white, heterosexual, traditionally masculine, neurotypical "norm," but the entry after the "muddled" part feels like a leap and reads like Everyone Is Jesus in Purgatory, and I was under the impression that meant it belonged as a WMG entry. Should it be removed? Can it be edited to fit better with the Fridge entry style? I'm making a comment here to discuss it because I don't want to start an edit war over someone's else's Fridge entry.
(Edit: Also, "the queer coded message gets muddled however when the movie doesn't really punish the town for their irrational fears" So the queer-coded message would have been clearer and stronger if the queer-coded people got to "punish the town for their irrational fears"??? Um. Like Aggie? Wasn't a major point of the movie the fact that her "punishing the town for their irrational fears" didn't solve anything? Because it actually further convinced the surviving people in the town 300 years ago that she really was an evil witch???? Not to mention the current people in the present, whose town she struck with lightning until most of it was on fire. Can't imagine they're gonna be too open to the idea that the cackling and shrieking cloud-face shooting lighting at them from the sky wasn't an evil witch after that).
