So this is just my own perspective, Evolt or Soichi has stated that "Kiryu" was just a name of a Barber in the series. But I thought it would be another Best Match just like "Sento" which is "Tank" and "Rabbit". My conclusion is "Ki" can be read as "Key" while we all know "Ryu" means "Dragon" in Japanese. And the form when Dragon and Lock Fullbottles is called "Key Dragon".
