An interesting implication of episode 17:
Just 5 pilots in more powerful Para-mail supplied by Embryo effortlessly decimate what was supposed to be an all-out attack force of DRAGONs, without taking a scratch. Compare and contrast that with Salia back in episode 7 recognising (through dismissing) that it was unusual to go several battles without taking a single casualty.
Does this mean that all along, Embryo made sure that the Norma of Arzenal were supplied with just barely powerful enough Para-mail and weapons to win battles against DRAGONs (so they could be harvested), but the pilots will die at a relatively steady rate doing so (culling the Norma population), so that both will kill each other indefinitely without wiping the other out?
