I removed descriptions of Jarmo as a "tech bro" because I don't think he fits the definition of that term. For example, Wikipedia's article says:

"'Brogrammer' or 'tech bro' are slang terms often used to label a stereotypically masculine programmer. Brogrammer is a portmanteau of bro and programmer. It is often used pejoratively, but some programmers self-describe themselves as a brogrammer positively as a word for "sociable or outgoing programmer", and it also tends to represent a subculture within the greater tech industry."

Jarmo never comes across as a "bro." He's dumpy, unfashionable and timid. He's amazed when two women give him any attention at all and is still too shy to dance. You'd expect a tech bro would be vain and overbearing. When he talks about his work, it's in dry, technical terms rather than salesy, self-aggrandizing terms. Ultimately he comes across like a stereotypical nerd who only understands coding and has no idea how to take advantage of the billions he suddenly finds himself with.

i work in silicon valley and in tech, and it gets applied to both dudebros in tech and unfashionable geeks (see the Cambridge definition and this Wired article, which admittedly tells people to stop calling dudes in tech 'techbros'); im surprised there isnt a trope for ultra-rich geeks who are still geeks but that might fit better than the techbro descriptions

Then it seems like it's a "Janus word," a word that has two opposite meanings, so I don't think it's helpful to include it.

We have a Tech Bro trope that is about chaddy dudebros, so I'll agree with leaving it off. It's not like it's critical to describing him.
