Do they have to? The same thing can contain many tropes.

It reads awful. Most of the instances must either be incorrect or point to tropes that are duplicates of each other. Since it is unlikely that there are duplicate tropes, it is this article that needs editing.

If the tropes are inaccurate you can remove them.
