I think the less controversy we give this film the better.
Art Museum Curator and frequent helper of the Web Original deprecation projectQuestion is, what trope would it be under? And how much does it feature in the movie itself?
To be clear, I definitely think there should be some mention of the kind of audience this movie is popular with, otherwise it will look like the site indirectly endorses that sort of thing. It's just a matter of how to go about it
I agree that we should go for the less controversy treatment.
Edited by Batman1996I'm wondering if I should put a note on the "Viewers Like You" entry about how the Pay It Forward approach is part of an Astroturfing campaign to make the movie seem more popular than it is.

Hide / Show RepliesThat almost sounds like it could be a trope unto itself, though I suspect if there was one, there would be an edit war over it in Captain Marvel (2019)
So for the Loosely Basedona True Story entry, it should be noted that the website Operation Underground Railroad (The organization that Tim Ballard founded) goes into more detail about which parts are accurate and which parts aren't. So would it be suitable to add a link in the trope description?

OUR is itself made of known liars, so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.
It used to have that, but has since been removed. It might be a bit too "autobiographical" anyway, plus Weblinks Are Not Examples

We should probably do more to mention how this movie is a vehicle for Q-Anon conspiracy theories. Permission to link to this Rolling Stones article? Should I link it in the main description or under an appropriate trope?
