I think the Aerith and Bob trope is inaccurate here. Alfred and Tristan are both names from english mythology and literature, while Samuel is biblical. I would imagine their father (who loves the poem "Tristan and Isolde", and likes history) named the elder boys, and their mother named the youngest (her obvious favorite).
