If this really is "the critics and audiences' view", this being added to the ymmv page is correct.

Why? How are a few people, like Doug Walker, actually wrong on it then?
To everyone here, I actually happen to be one that takes issue with this version of the Cinderella character, being added to the Rescued from the Scrappy Heap entry in the YMMV page. Considering that a few folks out there like Doug Walker, happen to disagree with the critics and audiences' view on its portrayal of the character.
