Not at all, because a fanfic can have a completely different tone and content to the original. If an individual fanfic is graphic enough to be triggering to, say, rape survivors, then it's fair to mention that, but The Wacky Adventures of Kirito and Asuna in Sunshineland (TM) probably shouldn't be tarred with the same brush (unless those wacky adventures involve gang-rape, obviously).
What's precedent ever done for us?
In light of the nature of the series, should a general PTSD trigger warning be posted?
