Ominous. I take it that whoever goes into the final battle, some of them aren't making it out alive? If I recall, there was a move that turned a party member against you, so that might have something to do with it?
Well, whatever happens, it's truly been amazing watching you craft this story. Sorry I haven't been active in a while, several other endeavours have hauled away my attention. Can't wait for the grand finale!
Chapter 64 is up. And you should be pleasantly surprised at the twist I took on it. Seemed patently obvious to me, but...my mind is twisty at times. I hope you enjoy it.

The last chapter might not have had anything Trope-worthy in it, but it was definitely a fun one to write. It's the closest thing to deep sea diving that the game has, and the whole time until Fina's wreck was found...

I'm sure there are some trope-worthy things in the last chapter, but RL has finally reared its head. I'll find some time soon to make a few edits; count on it!

And in todays update we learned that The Captain Hat Vyse has been wearing off and on since Rupee Larso gave it to him is in fact the enchanted tricorn cap of Daccat. And a plot point I've been saving for ten chapters comes full circle. :)

I gotta say, Euan, I'm super impressed with how many Tropes you're finding in BTR. I didn't think I was using that many, but it seems I am. :) What stuns me the most is how quickly you locate them and update this page, often only a few hours after I've posted the chapter. You must have a subscription alert set up for it. I'm not sure if you've been posting comments on AO 3 or FF Net as the story progresses, but the quality of your Trope research is good enough to stand on its own merits as a review. You like the story enough and are inspired enough by it to keep this page up to snuff. That's praise enough.
Thank you for your efforts. I just have to try harder to stump you now and do something that doesn't have a Trope. :)

It comes from practice; I'm subscribed to a lot of fanfic tvtrope pages and I love updating them as I read them. I figure this sort of support says a lot more than one review can. Glad you like my efforts!
