I know I've been a troper for about a month, but I've been browsing TV Tropes for longer than that. And now I'd like to throw my very own fanfic into the mix. Here's the link for those who are interested in reading it - I'm planning on bringing it out of hiatus by the end of September. For now, I'm going to wait for it to be reviewed by the TV Tropes Gods. Okay, so I added an unbiased "self-rec" to the Fanfic Crossover Recommendations for Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, but I'm unsure and about to take them down now. Maybe one of you could judge my collab story and see if it's good enough to be here? The recommendations being in alphabetical order is frustrating to me; I have to go through the entire list just to see whether something new has been added. If newer fics were merely added to the bottom of the list, one could simply go there to see new additions.

Hey I'm new here and don't know how to recommend things, so I will just leave it here... I kinda want to see an angst fic after 'Steven and the Stevens' where the pov is from the crystal gems and Greg in an alternate timeline where their Steven disappeared and they are left with his helmet and scooter abandoned on the sidewalk. Sorry for the inconvenience of the placing, if I got this wrong!!

I've just read this fic—well, read the first half and scanned cringing through the second half—and I removed from the "recommended" list for a few reasons:
1) It's poorly written. There are numerous grammar and spelling mistakes, the characters are re-introduced halfway through as if we had never met them, and the quality is just kinda mediocre.
2) There's no listed person recommending the fic. That's because when I looked back through the page history, it was added by the author itself.
3) It violates policy about underage sex, as the entire fic is set in motion by Connie, stated to be 15 in fic, getting pregnant.
4) More than that, it is _fucked up_. There's "dark fiction", and there's "this fic which is rated T actually features graphic descriptions of torture, sexual violence, and murder"
I'm also removing the sequel, which I didn't read, but I doubt would be much better.

Hm... Can anyone review the Steven/Spinel pairing fanfics? I would do it myself, but I'm a little afraid of what I'd find...
