The Star Wars example is really thin (presumably assuming that people are already familiar with the films plus the Rooting for the Empire trope), but this particular sentence makes no sense:

"The stories were originally entitled "The Adventures of Luke Skywalker" and changed to "The Rise, Fall, and Redemption of Anakin Skywalker" when the prequels were released."

How is that related to the trope? Just because Vader/Anakin turned out to be so popular that he got a prequel trilogy? Because the prequels give comparatively little focus to his time as Vader, and the fact that the description focuses on his redemption shows that we're not supposed to agree with his evil actions.
