What's with the purple?

It is from a random quote from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, an anime where Hiroshi Kamiya voiced the main character and is often considered one of his most iconic roles. It didn't help that his most recently notable role, Tieria Erde in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, also had purple. And as YMMV note: The purple color usually represents "Royalty and classic nobility", which is sort of appliable for some of his characters.

About his role as N in Pokemon Black And White, everyone says he's N, but Pixiv actually lists Yuuichi Nakamura as N. Can anyone confirm that Hiroshi Kamiya did N even outside the trailers?
